As an observer, who neither intervenes nor interacts with the subject, this documentary attempts to present parts of the everyday life of a music therapy student, emphasizing her expressions and reactions while producing sounds and improvising.

A journalist, who has lost his identity, visits an uncanny land, in which the smile is banned by law. He feels lost in its dystopia, consisted of self-destructive people, who deplore the smile. He gains many personal experiences that make him unaware of his aim and his human state as well. Will he eventually be able to find a way out?

The documentary is about Lia, observing her with the stray cats of Plaka and Tula, the female dog that lives in Pedion Areos. Lia loves and cares about animals. Every day she walks around the city having food in her bag and feeding any animal she meets.
