The Sorbonne University/Department of Classical Studies & Institute for Research in Musicology (Institut de Recherche en Musicologie – IReMus), in collaboration with the University of Oxford / Faculty of Classics, are organising an international conference marking the centenary of Manos Hadjidakis' birth, entitled “Manos Hadjidakis: Music, Culture, Politics”, to be held on 21–22 November in Paris.
Renata Dalianoudi, Associate Professor at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, will deliver a lecture entitled “Manos Hadjidakis in the Long 1970s: Renegotiating the Entechno”.
