Emmanouel Rovithis, Laboratory Teaching Personnel of the Audio & Visual Arts Dept is participating in this year’s 61st Venice Biennale with 2 theatrical performances, for which he has composed the music and implemented the sound design. These are the well-traveled “Goodbye Lindita”, which is in its third year of its world tour, and “Ragada”, which will be presented in a world premiere.
Part of the “Romance Familiare” trilogy by director Mario Banushi, who will be awarded the Silver Lion this year for his entire theatrical work, the performances deal poetically, without words, with motherhood, loss and mourning.
