Drifting

Social sensitization animation project on road safety. It emphasizes the use of a safety helmet when driving a motorcycle. The project was realized by the "Graffiti Animation Lab" (Applied Arts Sector/ 9th Vocational High School of Patras) with the participation of 13 adult students. It was produced with the team-work approach to learning and the implementation of conventional animation techniques.

A journalist, who has lost his identity, visits an uncanny land, in which the smile is banned by law. He feels lost in its dystopia, consisted of self-destructive people, who deplore the smile. He gains many personal experiences that make him unaware of his aim and his human state as well. Will he eventually be able to find a way out?
This changing frame represents an allegorical image of human nature, which when it is in dialectic with the outside world - during the transition from private to public life, experiences conflicting feelings of apprehension, anticipation, reticence, curiosity and extroversion.
Creation of a group installation entitled Intersecting Worlds. The installation raises questions about the diversity and dynamics of the digital world, the limits and possibilities of technology and how it interacts and transforms contemporary life, creating new stimuli and a new way of looking at everyday life.
This thesis is about the production, direction and animation οf a contemporary dance music video lasting four (4) minutes. Its title is "OBLIVION: Music video using the Rotoscoping technique". Its subject is the loss of a great summer love and the pain that comes when this love is over. Its goal for all of its elements be to harmoniously joined together i. e. the dance, the surroundings, the colors, the music and the animation so as to make the viewer feel nostalgic and melancholic.
